Ever have one of those days where you just HAVE to wash the car? That was today for me....won't get a chance to clean the engine bay or interior until all of the Christmas lights are up.

...and my first experience *positive* with Mother's Powerball for polishing the wheels.

Love the great year round driving weather in Texas....

I recognize this yellow beauty from YouTube. I have the video as one of my favorites. Love your car It is the color and the TT2 that do it for me. What size tires are you running on the front and back??? The stance is AWESOME. (sorry to hi-jack your thread) BK3

BK3 - You must be talking about this video (as it is the only video I have ever posted of the vette) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MJJLMM1PhQ

..and thank you very much for the nice words on the vette. The tires are 245/45/ZR17's in the front and 285/40ZR18's in the back - style is Michelin Pilot Sports.

BTW, the weather here in Austin today was brisk, but awesome!!! The high was only 60, but there was amazing amounts of sun.

This is one of my favourite '68 on the Forum. The color, the rims, and oh yeah, the 468 big block ads to the "WOW" factor. Definitely enough torque to pull St. Nick's sleigh.

F.I. BB. That is nice.
Yeah, I can vouch for the weather. No winter storage in Texas. Notice in his pics that many of the trees still have leaves on them. Many of the red oaks and Bradford pears are just now starting to drop their leaves. Fall comes a tad late round these parts...

I'm wheel shopping. I assume you have 17x8's front but what are the 18's on the rear and what is the backspace on both?

Thanks,

Deacon Don - As you guessed, the fronts are 17X8's. I don't have their backspacing in my notes. The rears are 18X10 with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing.

Very Nice Vette.

I love how neat the engine bay is.

What kind of air cleaner are you running?
