Ive had no problem with them in shipping... actually super fast. My problems were parts issues and how they were handled.

Willcox is no different than any other Corvette parts house except he is smaller and you just cannot stock every part for every year Corvette. He has to source parts also, but he is the only one around here that is always Johnny on the spot to help, plus he has the best prices, 90% of the time If you cannot think far enough ahead what parts you are going to need and how soon you need them, then you should buy from someone else

and i've had very poor service from them lately. i'm not complaining, just pointing out that each and every situation is different and perhaps even unique. it comes down to what parts you are ordering and if it is something common that is probably sitting on a shelf in the warehouse because it is continuously being ordered and stock is being replenished, or if it is a part that might be a bit off beat and the last one might have gone out the door the day before and the new stock is on it's way, etc.

personally, i have had great luck and fantastic customer service from wilcox whenever i have used them in the past, and i now actually give corvette central a call before i order to check stock if i need something very quickly.

either way, they are both great supporting vendors here at the forum, and if it weren't for their support and the support of concerns like them, this place wouldn't exist, or we would all have to pay to support it (instead of it being a voluntary thing).

I can't say enough good about Wilcox. He has provided invaluable help to me on the forum...I have made the mistake in ordering wrong parts and he has taken the return and sent the new part without even charging me...and I have always received my parts on time. I say give them another chance as I do not think it is a systemic problem.

I'm pretty new to the corvette community but not so new to reviving classic. Having said that I've ordered several components from Wilcox I received them in a day or so. some came in faster than I expected.

Matt-

I’m not sure what went wrong with your order, I’ll need to check into this and I apologize for any delay this may have caused you. If you don’t receive an order in the prescribed time frame then yes, something has gone wrong and always feel free to contact us.

You can contact me just about anytime at the WillcoxCustomerService@Willcoxcorvette.c om . I monitor this email address almost non stop.

If an item was back ordered then the order should have shipped and the back ordered item noted on the response to you. The tracking number issue is something we are trying to incorporate in our next round of site changes.

I’m sorry for the mistake Matt; I will talk to shipping and see what went wrong so that we can correct this issue. Today I issued a 25.00 in house credit to your account for the errors made, if you wish to order again please note: Invoice 109834 credit in the checkout section and they will deduct this from the order.

Happy Holiday’s

This time of year, everyone has shipping problems. From just before Thanksgiving to Christmas. shipping anything anywhere gets a bit ugly.

thats exactly what should have been done. this isnt something for the public until speaking to them in private hasnt given results.

I have read through the posts about Wilcox and the lack of 'support' they gave in this example.. When I get home at night after giving my daily pound of flesh.. I like the fact that I have a little something that I EXPECT should be waiting on my front porch. I can go out to the garage and continue my project and zone-out the pressures in life and focus on something more tolerable.. Don't have allegiance with Wilcox, Zip or Corvette Central. It's all about all mighty dollars and who can deliver... I don't have time for back order and nonsense that goes with it. If you sell it, you had better be honest and say it's not available for immediate shipment – or you’ll be hearing from guys like me.  Mike

I've received a part from Willcox NEXT day; usually it's two or three days.

I have never had anything from Willcox require two weeks.

Just placed an order with willow on the Dec. 6th. Received an email and call later that Monday and saying order was completed. Just got it in the mail today on the 15th. Figured it was just slow shipping because of the holidays. Nope.....checked the UPS tracking # and my order didn't even ship out until the 13th. Received it in 3 days. So 5 days time just to get an order together? they charged my card on the 6th.

Parts were all there....I do understand they are a smaller company.

Ordered something from them through eBay Monday the 13th and it took them 3 days to respond with a new invoice so I could pay them.

Email with tracking number from them would be great along with shipping the orders out within 1 to 2 days not a full week after my order is placed.

Satisfied by saying that and venting or satisfied with wilcox's service?
