i hear ya. i think its a 15x8 255/60/15? i like the bulge the front tire has!!! im thinking of doing the same setup on my 72 and having a 275/60/15 rear...
probably going to sell my mint 17x8 chrome rallies. 245/45/17 tires.

Here's the numbers I came up with:
Totals are in inches 255/60/15......275/60/15......difference
Sidewall height:..........6.02............6.5.... ........0.48
Section width:...........10.04..........10.83... ........0.79
Overall diameter:.......27.05..........27.99.... ......0.94
Circumference:...........84.79.......... 87.94..........2.97
Revs per mile:..........745.66.........720.49.... ...-25.17
If your speedometer reads 65 you’re going approximately: 67.27
Not sure if they will fit. Hopefully someone with the actual 275's will chime in.

If those are 8" wide rims, then I'd say they are 295/50's. I had 275/60's on 7" rallys, and they tucked in about as much at the sidewalls, and had a much taller-appearing sidewall.
