Default Cool Shift *****

Hope y'all are having a great holiday season. I was farting around Amazon and I stumbled upon this pistol-grip shift ****.

It is literally a "pistol-grip" shift ****. It's only $25 bucks, and I was wondering if any of you guys have this particular shift **** or any others. I was thinking that it might be less than ergonomically advantageous in 2nd and 4th gear since the shifter has quite a long throw. Any thoughts?

I actually drilled and tapped an 8 ball from an old set of pool *****. I have a '70's drag car and thought it would be appropriate. Depending on your shifter throw, the pistol grip might be a cool idea. I can also see your ring, finger, or key chain getting caught in it.

It might give me a false sense of security! But I like it.

Not a big fan of that pistol grip, but if that is what you like, do it.

Default Pistol Grip

My Wife got me a Hurst Shifter for my 69 a few years ago. Rather than use the chrome stick that came with it, I used a Hurst Pistol Grip from an early 70s Mopar. It bolted on fine and required no modifications.

Now that one, I like, it is part of the old Mopar blood in me. When I saw the OP, that's what came to mind for me.

I do like that, but as I'm a 19 year-old I have no attachment through nostalgia. It would probably be easier to use though.
