Default 1978 Changing Printed Circuit board help!

Searched the forum but couldn't find any info on changing the printed circuit board on my speedometer and tach housing. How do I remove the clips that the tach plugs into? I pried them open from inside the housing and pushed but they didn't budge. Don't want to get to aggressive.

If you’re talking about the flexible printed circuit board on the back of the speed/tack; I believe all I did was take out the light sockets and anything else holding it in place. I did this a number of years ago, but I didn't think it was too hard. Do you have an assembly manual, good investment. Good luck

Thanks Bill

Try these links from Willcox. I'm getting ready to do mine too:

I have the assembly manual and doesn't mention how the clips are removed. I managed to squeeze with a pair of pliers and push down and they came out without breaking any of them. These clips go over the top of the circuit board and power the tach.
