The snow blower is at the shop. It wouldn't start after the first blizzard in Dec. My back hurts just thinking about it.

Funny in Ottawa we are missing it again, maybe that's why the Senators can't win a hockey game , there's no snow, Ron

12 inches so far in northern RI which is expected to end this afternoon. Watched the news on you southern guys and what a mess. At least we have sufficient plows for the job.

Just took me 2hrs. to plow my driveway. We have 18in. and another 4hrs. to go. This is a lot of snow. It reminds me of when I was 10 years old and the snow banks were up to the bus stop sign. Stay inside and off the roads today.

Yes, I know southern winters are nothing compared to what you see up noth (), but around here anything more than a few flurries is a major event. As they always have, the local weathermen kept blowing off the chances for accumulation until it was nearly on top of us. Sunday night we got 4" just east of Memphis, with 8" just down the road at Ole Miss. The DD next morning...

The streets cleared up rather soon, so no complaints from me.

I must have plowed around 18 inches of that #$%^&* pretty today. I was plowing the edge of the road so the mailbox is accessible and the front end started to slide into the ditch. I stopped and put the Jeep in reverse and the back end goes sideways and slides into the ditch. Somehow I did manage to get out without needing another 4WD but you can keep your $%^&* pretty snow.
