Help in understanding back space, rim ,ect,
Can someone explain bolt pattern, back spacing, for rims?
I have an 81 stock and was thinking of some rims, a set of cragers would be nice, but what back spacing and bolt pattern will work and where do they get the measurements from off the rim.
What do i need to know so i get the right ones.

If you Google wheel back spacing, offset, and bolt pattern you will find many links to good wheel dimension info. For a specific vehicle, the vendor or wheel manufacturer can tell you everything you need to know.

Whats the difference between offset and backspace?, I mean if I know the wheel width, I can calculate the backspace if I know the offset and know the offset if I know the backspace, so why we have both?
