Hello all,
I am a new Vette owner. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. However I need to replace the 2 piece grill section on the front end of this custom front clip.
What I was told when I bought it was that it is a '78 main body with '81/'82 front and rear clip. It has a '79 350 with a mild cam and a '72 4 speed Muncie transmition. Obviously customized with a convertible top.
So has anybody ever seen a front end like this? Any manufacturer ideas?

Dang thing, if you right button click and open in new tab it opens fine. I tried a different link but got the same result. Any ideas? I followed the insert image link in the message to attach the image.
Your bumper cover is not quite 80-82 style; close, but more custom. Based on the pic, it looks like you could put the stock 78 cover on if you want to do that.
The seller might be able to tell you where the bumper cover came from.
Thank you for reposting my Vette pic. I love the front clip and I am just looking to replace a piece of the grill. The grill piece snapped before I got it. How ever I can not seem to find a replacement due to the custom nature of it. It is a plastic grill and you can see in the pict where it is broken just left of the right driving light. Unfortunately the people I bought it from bought it with little to no knowledge about the vehicle. Just like me they fell in love with it at first sight.
while not the greatest of suggestions, i would start combing the various on line parts suppliers to see if anyone might have a matcher to your nose. some places to check would be corvette central, wilcox, keen (all forum sponsors) and others like zip, ecklers, volunteer vette, paragon, pacific corvette, etc. google search might also become your best friend for this hunt. good luck. hope you find it somewhere
