Bushing Kit Install
Hi,
I've just purchased a hyperflex bushing kit from summit and was looking for a little advice on the installation. I've never installed bushings before.
Is there any "while i'm there" things that would be recommended?

ok get or borrow a good air chisel and access to a press the other way is to take the control arms off and take them with your bushings and get them pressed at a shop,if you do it yourself do one at a time so you know how far to seat them.the trailing arm bushings take a special tool I made mine.you may be able to get one from a member who does not need it anymore,there is a little controversy over rubber or poly urethane bushings I used rubber they lasted 40 years some members have had problems with the poly urethane if you use them and have a problem it is much harder to go back in on some of the bushings once the car is assembled .and unless your are road racing you will never notice the difference except in your wallet,I got my complete front suspension,steering linkage from corvette america.

How many miles are currently on the car? Since you'll have to remove the front a-arms anyway, I'd take a good look at the condition of the ball joints. It's fairly easy to replace them while the car is apart.
