Default Can I use 80's inner fender skirts in a 69?

Hi

Can I use 80's inner fender skirts in a 69? Is there a big difference, from the pics they look quite similar..

No. Front corners on the 80-82 skirts are cut down to clear the crash bumper set up.

Use the 68-69 skirts.

Could I cut them for a quick fix? or modify slightly?

Till I get the correct set?

Cut what? The 80-82 inner skirts are already shorter than stock 69 skirts and will not bond the entire length on the earlier fenders at the front. Backside of the 80-82 skirts near the cowl is okay; they will bond the entire length of the fender. Bond length at the hood surround panel is also okay.

My advice would be to purchase the 69 and 80 AIMs and compare the front clip installations of the two.
