Electrical Connection on Trans
I've got some sort of electrical connection stub on the driver's side of the factory 4sp on my 72. I can't find the harness that goes to it...probably gotten shoved up in the tunnel out of sight. Haven't looked real hard for it yet. Does anyone know what it is or does?

If it is a single spade connector it is part of the emissions. It told the system it was in 4th gear and allowed vacuum advance. A single black wire is connected to it. Don't worry about it if it is not there. I'm sure your TCS system is disconnected.
