speedo question
I'm restoring my interior on a '77 vette. I resprayed my bezels and they came out pretty good but the faceplate is not in great shape. Zip has new faceplates for a '71 for about $30. Would that fit on my '77? It looks the same in the picture. Thanks.

ZIP shows the 68-77 speedo lens as $18.50, so I don't think thats what he means. Faceplate??

No a 68-71 speedo face is not the same as a '77.
ONE MORE EDIT: A quick search isnt showing a listing for anything between '75-'77. You may have to send the unit in for restoration.

I notice these guys list 1977 seperately... sounds like a more difficult deal that I thought. Corvette Clocks by Roger is usually a good source, but not cheap. Many of the parts houses do gauge restos. Call around (email) and see if there's some '77 speedo premium or something.
