Hi,
A few months ago I took a tour at County Corvette in West Chester, PA. I think they are expensive, but they mostly work on Corvettes and they do it very well. Top Flight, I'm sure!

My dad had his car repaired at County Corvette. They will not take short cuts. You will pay top dollar for top service.

The work that County Corvette does is 1st class. No shortcuts and for what they charge, it is a fraction of what any other shop would charge. I guarantee that you will not be disapppointed in any facet or the repairs you would like to have done. Absolutly great people who care about the work they put out. They di a ton of work on my 1979 coupe and I won a NCRS second flight award with that car.

One of the major perks of belonging to a local Corvette club is the knowledge of the membership on who to take your car to for any specific work that has to be done...
Sounds like more then a few have mentioned the same place...so that is where I would first go just to check them out...
Locally there is a one man shop who only deals with C! C2 and C3 Corvettes who is outstanding, and another shop that gets high marks for the newer cars...Only one place gets mentioned when it comes to wheel alignment and only one gets mentioned for rebuilding an engine...several paint shops make the list ,,,
Thanks all!!! I've seen County Corvettes at Carlisle and have visited their web site ---- they are also a supporting vendor of the forum. I was hoping there might be recommendations for something a bit closer as they are about 100miles away. It's always good to hear all positive recommendations for a business.
Does anybody have a recommendation for a business that does quality service work on C3's in East/Central PA? Or, any to stay away from?
Hi. This one is easy. I recommend COUNTY CORVETTE. I have lived in the West Chester PA area a long time. Finally a Corvette owner and the only place I will let touch my car is County. I recently had the car in there on two occassions after buying it (out in OH) and the guys at County helped identify the things that must be done vs the things that I could/should do. They are top notch; and they know what they are doing. With respect to cost .. you get what you pay for when it comes to these cars. I know that if I bring my vehicle there, they will treat it with respect and take extra measures to a) do the job the right and b) keep the car protected. I would not hesitate to just bring it there. My 72 runs beautifully after they worked on it.
Good for all of you vette owners near Pa but anyone have any dealings with a good and fair price in Lower, Slower, Delaware? Near Lewes,Millsboro, or close by? Thanks
Can I ask, what do you need done???? If it is a standard thing common to all vehicles, a Vette shop may not be necessary.
Probably isnt necessary to have a Vette shop but I dont want somebody learning how a Vette is put together on mine.

I'm sure there will be those that say I should do this myself - which I probably could given enough time - but one of the things I dont have a lot of is free time.
What a great day for a ride.... blue sky, bright sun, temp almost at 50!!! I took the day off and drove the car to County Corvette. 116 miles of joy.
County Corvette has a beautiful shop and showroom. The staff are all very friendly and seem to be very knowledgeable. I feel pretty good that the high recommendations have been well earned, so, they now have "the car".

And what a beautiful car it is! Thanks for everything Roy and we look forward to getting her back to you very soon!
Roy69 - Was great meeting you at County Corvette. Your car looks super. Really sharp blue paint. What are the odds we're both in for service. Nice weather for driving. Hopefully trip back was uneventful !

Scott.
Scott - When my wife and I got there I spotted your car right away, but didnt expect to bump into you. It was great talking with you. Your car is even nicer than the pictures I've seen.
The drive home was great - I couldnt have asked for nicer weather. I did get one 'thumbs up' that gave me a chuckle. Heading west on the turnpike, a trooper that had a car pulled over gave me a thumbs up as I went by - I'm pretty sure the person that was pulled over wasn't feeling the same sense of comradery.
