Default What is this part?

Hi all. Can someone tell me what this part is? My uncle owned several Corvettes in his life and it was among some stuff I received after he passed away a few years ago. I'm assuming it is a Corvette piece and I'm in the correct year range for it. It doesn't have any markings on it other than Delco.

Thanks!

It's not a Corvette item, or at lease not an OEM one.

I know I've seen those controls before. It may be the underdash control for a Delco air shock system, with an on board compressor.

Hey Jeff, I believe this is one of those C3 airspeed indicators. Anything below 30 would cause the vehicle to fall from the sky. The green range was the optimal flight range whereas the yellow was starting to get into the area where the structural integrity of the Vette had to really be watched (while in flight). On the ground the gauge was not needed because there were no speed limitations.

Actually, I have no clue what it is but made for an interesting story, right?

Take care,
Terry

For some model years, air shocks were a dealer option. Looks like you inherited one of the air shock controllers.

Sure it's not a headlight fluid indicator?

You've got the main part but you still need a spool of flight line and two sky hooks to make it complete. After that you're on your way. Actually I have no idea what it is. I think Easy Mike might have it. Good luck with your search.
