decode engine number
hi:the serial engine number its completely gone anyone knows if there is a web site they can decode it the car its in italy and without engine number i will not be able to register please anyone help me thanks VIN

With an "8" as the 5th digit, it left the factory as a L48 350/190hp.

First off, what year is that VIN from? The format is all wrong for a 69.
Second off, you aren't going to get any engine information from the car's VIN unless it is a 72 or newer.
