Default 350 Engine in a 65

Bought a 65 Vette with a 350 engine. Casting on the block is 3970010
K2 350, Stamp Pad numbers are K06 79 800. I was told this was a 1970 GM crate motor. I know it was used from 69 to 80. It is a 4 bolt main. I am not going to use it but want to know more about this motor. Any help. Thanks 70 Vetteman.

If that an original stamp and not a rebuilders, it sounds like an engine from the McKinnon Industries plant in St. Catherines Ontario.

I am not sure if it is a rebuild. Someone has marked the rods with pein marks so I would guess it was over hauled once but the bore is clean and is 4 inch no wear. No other marks on the stamp pad.
