Definitely the chrome. Will showcase the yellow caliper and be more in line with the engine detail.

It looks like there is some chrome trim on the wheel to give you some of the gleam - but not too much

I would go with the 17" wheels but use a tire that will give you the same overall diameter as the 15" wheel, with some sidewall showing. I don't like the look of big wheels and thin tires on C3's. IMO the wheels/tires need to fill the wheelwells to complete the design of the car.

I vote gunmetal 17s.

I like the old school look of the "as cast" gray centers.
The stock tire diameter is 27". A 255/50-17 is also 27" tall and will not look like a "rubberband" as well as fill the wheel well.

I would pick the chrome wheels. The chrome and yellow combination to me would give the car a cleaner look as well as tie in any other chrome accents on the car.
