Default crate engine for 1975 vette

Any feedback on a good engine builder 350 or 383 450 to 500 hp
I've looked at URE -- Ross Machine in Michigan -- White -- Dominator --Phoenix -- AR Racing
I found these on EBAY and wondered if there were any positive or bad reviews on any of these.

thanks
Jim Arlington Heights, Il.

I've heard good things about Year One, but I don't know if they have an engine tht makes the horsepower you're looking for.

I bought a Jegs 355 short block with 4 bolt mains, good crank and rods, and .250 positive deck pop-up hypereutectics that was decked, aligned, etc. Added a good cam, timing set, HP oil pump, Performer intake, Hooker Comp headers, and prepped L-82 heads. With a properly set up Q-jet and recurved HEI distributor I should be getting close to that. It sure runs sweet and isn't too bad at the pump.
