Quick fix to a loose 68 ignition switch.
The "flat" area of my 68 dash that positions the ignition switch is worn and as a result, even with the nut tight the switch is twisting when I turn the key. I got a heavy washer and cut 3 grooves in it to match those in the switch and fastened it to the back of the dash. This solved the problem and keeps the switch at the same position and depth as it was before.
