seat belt help
I need to put seat belts in my 77, and was wondering if I can get out of it without spending $4oo plus. I want good seatbelts and mine, what is left of them can't be rebuilt.

The rear belts from a F body camaro or firebird are a common substitute. They only have one retractor and the color choice is limited, but the price from the wrecking yard is usually pretty low.

IMHO, i wouldn't skimp on safety stuff.
Tires, brakes, windshield wipers, etc.........belts would fall into that category.
Check the for sale forum for belts for sale.....usually a few there....tan, black, etc.

I bought seat belts for my 69 from Ssnake Oyl. I am pleased with them. They were $76 each.
