I've fallen in love with a C3 and I'm worried it's been customized extensively. What can you guys tell me about it?

Post the first 6 or 7 numbers of the VIN and we'll tell you exactly what year the window pillar/windshield frame came from!

Looking at the house and the other cars in the background you could get the impression that the build was not financially challenged. IF you like customs it's a nice looking car. Are you looking for a custom? If you are the year really doesn't matter all that much since the car is so heavily modified. It depends on the asking price. Try to get get some additional pictures including under the hood and undercarriage. Post them with the asking price and I'm sure you will get many more opinions.

I actually just found it browsing the net, and I've always loved C3 vettes. I was trying to figure out the year and the mods to perhaps get an idea of what it would take to reproduce something similar. I figure I'd have to start with the correct year if I were to do it. So if it's a 1976 did they have the rear modified to look like a earlier model? That rear end is perfect, in my opinion.
I do like the idea of a custom C3, such as this one. A blend between modern and classic.
