Well first of all I'm not very handi, But here is my problem; my 75 will start with no problems when it is cold. I then drive the car for a bit then shut it off. When I go to start it again, like ten, fifteen min later I encounter a problem which is described as follows. When I turn the key the engine turns over slow then just clicks. I then wait a min or so and crank it again and again then it starts. Sounds like a battery problem but with a new battery the problem still exists. A new starter also did not solve the problem. I'm looking for suggestions.

I would also check all the battery cables and the ground strap to the frame.
A bad fuel filter will kinda cause part of that problem.
did you change the solenoid on the starter?
What battery did you go with ??

clean 'ALL the contacts and grounds including any under the battery to the frame...
no headers, factory heat shield in place, battery is a Parts plus 65 and I believe the solenoid was replaced with the starter.
well that's good, new battery and starter you didn't need...now go clean the battery cables at the frame and engine contacts...you may have to crawl back under the Vette to clean all of them especially the ground to the frame
