Default C-3 Frame

Thinking about buying a rolling chassis for my 72 and swapping body over then repair and store original frame. It is a standard will any C-3 year fit?

Don't be quick to turn away a frame from a 73'. That was the year I used to replace the frame on my 68' project. No major line up issues ...

There is a difference in the rear between 71 and 72. It will still work but 72 has a threaded hole on the back outer edge for the brace to the side bumper mount. The cutout is different on the inside rear also. I noticed this when comparing my 70 and 72.
