Embossed fake licence plates???
I know (I have been told) that embossed licence plates are illegal to produce in the USA, but that you can get a fiberglass one OK. Here in New Zealand the plates that they issue will not fit between the two small bumpers on either side of the front licence plate area of a 76, so I had one made in the US with my same plate number, but in the US dimensions. But the web site was misleading and I thought I was getting a real aluminium embossed plate, but I just received a painted "3D" effect on the lettering, the plate was still flat.
I know that this is a problem that you lucky US residents probably never face, but if anyone knows where I can get a custom made, embossed plate in the US plate dimensions, I would be mighty happy to know
