Getting ready to rotate the tires on my '81. She's wearing 255 60R15's. What's the prefered method - front to back or "X" 'em?
Thanks for the input! ...Alan K.
I am old school when we use to always "X" them....But, I have my tires (radials) rotated at each oil change on my truck....They insist the front to back is proper. I have 35K miles on my tires, and it is very hard to see any wear at all.
I guess if you have some alignment issues, you can correct your current wear by X-ing them. If, no alignment issues I would go front to back.
