Default 79-82 Seat question??

Ordering new seats and was wondering if the 2" or4" sides are more comfortable? Thanks for any insight.

they are both pretty comfortable. personally i rebuilt my seat using the 2" model. it is easier to enter and exit the car and you aren't constantly scraping against it getting in and out. it may just be mental, but i figured they might last a bit longer not having me rub against them each time i used the car. i know on my C4 when i had it the bolsters were always being scrapped up and i had to replace them before the seat even showed any wear.just an opinion however.

search this topic..seems i remember someone complaining the 4 inch bolsters were too big... I think the 2 inch bolsters were factory specs, not the 4's.
