Default Head lights conversion 72 LT1

Those who converted their headlight to full electrical. How or what did you do with the windshield wipers? Did you convert them to electric (door or lid)? If so, what did you do to keep the door or lid up?

theres a couple of threads around on this. The most popular way to convert the ws wiper is to use an electrical solenoid and magnetic contacts for the "up" door position.

If you convert your headlights to electric all you have to do is plug or eliminate the vacuum source to the headlights and your wipers should operate normally. You don't necessarily have to convert both systems.
