I had the carb replaced a few weeks ago and ever since have had problems getting it started after it's warmed up. It won't achieve an idle without me having to keep revving it, but it almost seems like it's flooded, because I can drive it out of it. It then will idle normally after a couple of miles. The Carb is a 650 Edelbrock, manual choke.
Well, there's alot more information needed on this one, example; new or rebuilt and who put it on etc.. 1st make sure the choke butterfly is staying fully open, next recheck the float levels, then adjust the air mixture. Are all hoses connected to the proper locations? Just need more info, Ed
New Carb..had my regular mechanic put it in. I'm going to take it back to him, but want a better idea of what to look at. I went through the touble shooting section of the manual for the carb. It mentions checking the float level and drop ?
