Forum sponser. They are on the left hand side here on the forum or go here. The are located just outside of Richmond Va.

To me.. the best bang for your buck is the Trim parts door handles. They are reproductions but made in the states.. with our current forum sale they are about 62.00 each side and are as good as the original GM handles.

There are also a few different manufactures of the china handles. Some are good, some are just down right nasty.

The good China handles are about 44.00 for the pair with gaskets. http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=25719

I don't think there is such a thing as an inexpensive Corvette part.

Well I got my cheap handles a while ago & now my car is in the shop (pics of the resto to come later in a new thread).

Check out the fitment I observed:

Original:

New, w/o gasket:

New, w/gasket:

Original, top view:

New, top view:

As you see, the fit is horrible & totally unacceptable & will probably snap or break in a short time. It is no easy chore to get at the handles so they have to be right 1st time.
Also, the flapper on the new is smaller & recessed (falling in) vs. the original, & my originals are 29 yrs old.

Makes me wish I saw this thread B4 I bought my handles.
