Windshield wiper mistake
Recently I changed my worn windshield wiper blades with new ones. For the past 28 years (1982 Vette), I just bought the wiper blades and put them on the stock blade holders. This last time I couldn't find just the blades, so without thinking, bought the whole assembly and threw my old wiper blade holders away. With the new assembly, the wipers get caught on my hood and will not work. HELP.

Don't know why you would throw the old ones away b4 trying the new ones....have you tried bending them a bit to clear?.....maybe a different set of blades might help....or you many have to source another set of 82 wiper arms/ holders.

Had the same problem with the replacements from ecklers, zip etc. Switched to trico exct fit blades which are quit a bit lower.
