Door Hinge Shim Help
I've got to buy some replacement door hinge shims for my 77 Vette.
Corvette America sells shims that appear to be primed or e coated black or something like that.
Ecklers sells shims that are made of stainless steel.
If you were putting them on your car, which would you use?
Which would you think would be more correct?

I would look for used stock. Scored some off eBay a while back. Regardless of power coated or stainless steel, if you are concerned with judging the shims were installed at the time of paint and edges will be body color.

That's probably the best idea, however unfortunately at this point I have time constraints which make that not an option.
So... Any inputs regarding whether to go with the Corvette America (painted or powder coated, not sure which it is) or the Ecklers Stainless Steel shims would be appreciated.
