I'm not a big rubber bumper fan but I ran across an orange 77 coupe with new crate 350 new interior and 10 ft paint. Car has 50K miles, auto, air, power everything. No rust so cal garage car. Beautiful. Asking price is 12K. Sounds like a fair price, but this is the most beautiful rubber bumper I've ever seen. Thoughts?
12 is a little high for a 77.but if it is what you like its worth a little more .new interior is a big plus as is the crate motor.get all the info on the motor .check out your headlights and everything else to make shure they work .dont let him know that this is the best car in the world .offer a little less and see if he is interested.you can find a compromise.will it pass the smog test where you live?

Terrible price. The NOM drastically hurts the value of the car.
Thanks all. Took another look at it today and could no get by the crate motor nor some cracking glass in the door jams I'll wait until I find the right chrome bumper vert.

Yeah way over priced if the body and paint wasn't good. I could live with a NOM if the car was really nice for that price maybe but it had really be nice.
If a chrmoe bumper convertible is what you really want, don't settle. Wait until the right one comes along.

Take the time to find the car you really want.
Sit down and make a "must have" list (that's reasonable of course) and stick to it. If you don't in the end you'll never be satisfied.
As others have already said 12K was way to much money for a '77 NOM that needs paint.
