Just wondering how many people have done a custom stereo install in their c3 vettes and am hoping to find some new ideas for my stereo. I havent seen too many custom setup so lets post some pics!
I like that setup. Those speaker boxes look very professional. Plus you still have cargo space. Very nice!!!
Here is my setup, not much room for golf clubs back there!
wow, nice work. i've always been a stereo guy but not so much with the vette. replaced the frt spkrs with polks and the rears are orig type spkrs due to the size restraints. the radio is a clarion CD player. that's about all i invested. good thing. i rarely turn the radio on when driving the car.
(mewn) wow! careful you don't crack the rear window when you crank.also with no storage space your female companions must be told to bring along only what fits between their legs.
I kinda went the other way. I didn't want to show off my system, I didn't want anyone to know there was anything back there till I cranked it up. I got 2 12s and a 1200 watt amp in back of my 77 coupe.
WOW. Very nice. And you got a privacy shade to hide when needed. I guess I need to upgrade my cassette stereo player. Need to fix my broken power antenna first.

My father was really big on making sure that the system could be covered so it's a great set up unfortunately my sub has been blow for over a year so it doesnt get much use. The antenna is always the fist step, it was for me too

Wow that is one sweet interior! I would love to have something like that done to my car one day
I bought this and was about to start mine when a body off restoration ensued. BUT the body went back on today so this winter I should have plenty of time to work on this setup and get it looking nice.
I didn't want to go overboard yet didn't want to go too weak. So I feel i went somewhat middle ground?
Polk MM 8" subs, MM 6.5" speakers, hifonics amp, EZ-500 radio, ...new carpet...
