Hello all,
I am new to the forum but have been here a few times and taken advantage of all the knowledgeable posts and would like to thank everyone in advance for any responses.
I am trying to install a new truflex nose on my 1974 Stingray and was wondering if anyone had any pointers to make my life a little easier... the hardware seems to be really difficult to get in place. I did the rear bumper cover yesterday with relative ease...
The only thing you can do is remove as much as you can to get room. The bottom valance and spoiler to get access underneath. Also lots of different wrenches for different access spots. Good luck.
I actually put tape on the back of the bolts to hold them in place until I could get the nut attached. This is really a two person job I think. One can be on the top pressing and manipulating the bumper to the right place and the other under the car tightening the nut.
