Default Auto Detailing - Bubba style

After thoroughly going over my new Corvette (1980) the past few weeks, I found the following "details" that require debubbafication. Here are the quick Bubba-style detailing tricks I uncovered:

Those nasty dash pad cracks are easily concealed with a little black electrical tape:

A loose rearview mirror can be quickly firmed up with a bead of black silicone caulk:

The black window trim can be freshened up with a shot from the rattle can. Picture was taken against a sheet of white paper - note there is black paint overspray on BOTH sides of the glass!

Don't worry about painting your plug wires, they will probably get replaced eventually (at least by the next non-bubba owner):

A rattle can also works wonders on the door panels (if the color even came close to matching anything else in the interior, I might suspect it was dye, but it's not likely bubba has ever heard of dye):

Given the above, it is not surprising to find yellow paint on the windshield:

First priority is getting the rearview cut loose and made adjustable again. Works great for my son, who is 5'7", but at 6', I just get to watch my door as I drive around!
