Lower Front spolier 1972 LT1
Now and then I find myself getting on the throttle, however around 80+ mpg or so the front end starts to feel like it is floating. I was thinking of a lower front spoiler to help push the front end down at the higher speed.
Now the question: Is there a lower spoiler availlable to replace the stock short one or do I have to go with a body kit. thanks in advance.

Looking in a couple catalogs, the spoiler for 73's-79's looks a bit deeper. I could be wrong. If so, maybe it can be modded a bit to mount in 68-72's, maintaining a stock look, but a bit deeper, as opposed to the pace car wrap around spoilers. I never really cared for those. Though functional, they always looked like a bolt on cheap piece to me.
Just my 2c.

How is the suspension? My car had a similar feel at about 70mph, very light front end. I have removed everything up front and found the lower ball joints to be shot. My car has 45k miles and all bushings, ball joints etc were original. Hoping for good results. I do not know if downforce would be much of a factor at these speeds. Good luck.

If anyone have used the wrapped around spoiler, can you share a photo. I would like to keep the current look but with a lower spoiler.

Here is a better picture. It's just reinforced rubber, you could probably make one. It has two metal stripes on the back side, that reinforce the rivets.
I have had my 72 up to 130 and it was rock solid. Actually drove for quite a while on a closed road so it was legal and it was fine. Mine is slightly lowered so that may help. If it is drifting around at 80 something else might be the issue.
And I don't even have the stock spoiler on my car. (yet)
Corvette Sweden have no picture at the web site and they have not sold anyone in a few years untill i bye one last year!.
I don.t think someone know they can make them.
I pay 250 for one!.
You can phone them at nr 00468293292 and tell that you have seen picture from my car and my friends car!
