I have a wrong for the car Rochester and it has no choke on it. I now have an Edelbrock with electric choke. I am now in need of finding power for it. I was hoping one of you could upload a pic of the plug end of the correct wire so I can find mine and use it. Side question, is the original choke all electric, or does it work off of the computer at all? I am not so sure the computer actually works.
The computer is not needed for the choke. I think my wire is green and comes from the drivers side fender, but I'm sure you could tap into any 12v wire that is live when you turn the ignition on.

Look for a rubber plug on the firewall, where you can shove a wire through, and go directly to a "switched" fuse location in the fuse box. Use a wire that has an inline fuse, and feed the choke assembly from there.
I had to do this when I installed an electric choke conversion on a Firebird I used to own...

Computer is not needed, cool. Just wanted to be sure about that. My thought process was that if I can find the actual wire for the choke, then I do not need to run another wire and the only wire I have to cut is the one that was already intended for the choke. It would just make this so much easier. I know I have an unused green wire lying around the carb, but haven't had time to trace it back to its origin. Are any other wires in the engine bay green?
