AC compressor support bracket

I am trying to find a bracket for the back of my AC compressor that connects to the exhaust manifold. I have headers and the long AC compressor on my 79 L48. I took my bracket off a year ago and I can not find it. It looks like an L and bolts to the heads in one of the header bolt holes.

I remember seeing one on here but can not find it for the life of me. I have a friend with some R-12 and he is going to charge my unit for me.

The one that was on my car was about 3 inches high (it was bubba fied) and bolted to the rear of the compressor and also to the third header bolt hole. Wish I wouldn't have lost it.

Go to ecklers and put in ac bracket , then change year to see different ones.

Who made your headers? Most of the header manufacturers sell brackets to mount the stock AC. Factory brackets usually do not fit aftermarket headers.

I will look at summit and jegs. Not sure what type of headers, they were on there when I bought the car. I think Roger helped me out. Corvette Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket, With Headers, 1963-1968 Part # 26753 I think this is the part I need from ecklers. Thanks guys.

Does anyone know where I can get a AC bracket for a 79 with headers that doesn't attach to the headers. I am going to put some Stage 8 header bolts on and my AC bracket currently is attached to the headers.
