Default License Plate Frame

It seems I am License Plate Frame challenged, my wife got me a nice License Plate Frame for Fathers Day however I can't get it on.

The current plate uses the bottom holes, the top holes are too close together for the frame.

The new one uses the top holes, as there are no bottom holes

I am missing something?

I'm guessing C4 or later frame.

That is a C6 license plate frame. Therefore you are going to have to drill some new holes, or elongate the ones you have, both which will look bad on that frame. The easiest thing to do would be to thank your wife and kindly explain to her that you have to exchange it for a C3 one that fits. I am sure she will understand...she has most likely done the same with stuff you have got her over the years.

Corvette Central. Here's a link to the selection on their site: http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....rt~A2~cadefibG

I would use the Stingray one if they had the right flags (should be like the ones in Lupigiato73's avatar) and for some reason the script seems to be going uphill

Trust me, the lettering is straight on the frame and has another set of cross flags on the other side. I can't explain why the image I copied from CC on my iPad looks funny, but since Steve Jobs doesnt believe in supporting flash media, and 90% of website content is flash, it might explain the distorted image. After dinner, I will take a picture of the frame on my car. Great looking frame with "Stingray" flanked on both sides of the cross flags. Otherwise, I like "thnk2mch" advice and buy a C4 to hang that frame on :-)

Now you have to get a C6 to go with the frame.
