I need to replace my mufflers and have a few questions.
The front and secondary pipes are 2" from the exhaust manifold.
I like the sound of the off-road pipes/N11.
Corvette Central offers a welded pair of secondary pipes and mufflers,
but only in 2 1/2". Is there a metal fitting made that will allow the 2" to be
welded to the 2 1/2" and if so, will the sound quality still remain or am I
wasting my money?
I will call CC soon to inquire, thanks.
In the mean time, for those of you who have a 70',71',72' 350 cars,
what type of exhaust system do you have on your cars? I'm also curious
about the chambered exhausts. Please drop by and give me your opinions
and if you have photos, even better.
I put the 2 1/2" Magna Flo exhaust on mine from CC - aluminized. Fits great and sounds awesome. It comes If you go the 2 1/2" route, you'll also need the 2 1/2" bracket that mounts to the transmission. If you have a stock 2" manifold, you can order the 2" to 2 1/2" and it bolts right up.
