Default Heat Barrier

I am replacing the carpet in my 77...
How may square feet of heat barrier will it
take to cover everything?

RS, search "interior insulation" here in the C3 section and you will find all kids of info. some go with the pre-made kits and others go to home depot and lowes and buy the same stuff that is cheaper. I got all my floor insulation (4 rolls) from home depot for about 60 bucks. It is the insulation used for heat/ac house ducting. Works outstanding and I can drive my car now for hours in the 90 degree plus weather and my feet don't blister anymore and it is very quite. Put a layer of refletix stuff down and also some insulation. YOu will love it. It will be the best 100 bucks you ever spent on our money pits.

Yep I used reflextix from lowes and it worked for me. I don't remember how many rolls but, just measure the width X length to get Sq. feet for coverage. Oh yea don't forget the silver tape to seal the pieces together. Ed

Purchase one of the precut aftermarket kits and you won't have to fret over square footage.

Reflectix - Lowes-Home depot about $25 a roll.
you will need 2 rolls to do a complete job, 1 is just not quite enough.
Kits $100 min.
