Default New Sunvisor?? See Pic

I bought a new Sunvisor for the '79 pass side - with mirror. Below is a pic of what I received. I am not sure what to make of it or how to make this work...I really wouldn't even care if my old mirror went back on it. The white piece you see is a piece of foam - I guess its used to fill in the 2 hollow squares that are pre-cut that you see??

It looks like the one you received is cut to use the mirror with the light on either side and the flap that covers it.

I'd call Corvette America and ask for some explanation. I don't believe the holes serve any useful purpose, lights or not.

Replacement visor has provision for the optional factory vanity mirror. The mirror on your original visor looks like the handiwork of a PO or a dealer addition.
