Default vacuum line to where?

I have a underhood line free at one end and goes into a box under the brake booster. Once upon a time the car had cruise control but not any longer. Any Ideas? Should I connect to a vacuum source? Also, It's not for the headlights. Almost forgot,1980 orginally auto but now 4-speed.

Just plug it for now. When you put CC back on, hook it back up.

Over on the drivers side the only place you would have hoses is to the cruise control, windshield washer bottle, and vacuum canister.

There's also a vacuum lockup switch for the tranny , it could have been a box or a cylinder looking thing. I called it a MAP sensor but it might be referred to as something else.
I had an 80 and I seem to remember putting a toggle switch on it so I could keep it from going into lockup around town.

The line must have been to the cruise control which was abandoned after the conversion to a 4-speed. The cruise unit has four vacuum lines going to to it which are now gone.
