Steering Box Question
I have rebuilt my 68 steering box. I took 54 ***** out and replaced with 56 new ones. My thought was to put in as many as would fit. Is this correct or should there only be 54 or less? I am adding power steering if that makes a difference. Thank you. Doug.

Put in only as many as the service manual calls for. PS or manual makes no difference. You need the service manual for brg preload and sector adjustment specs anyways, so look up the number of ***** while you're in there.
