Just a quick question- my eyes aren't smart enough yet to determine what is really Elkart Green and what isn't. I know it's a bright green, but which of these cars is really Elkhart? (the first car is the only one actually says it in the ad, but I'm not so sure).
OR
Does it really change THAT much in direct/indirect light? The second picture is pretty damn bright, but I have seen other Elkhart cars that look similar.
It is my opinion that the dark green car is not Elkhart green. The ad says Elkhart, but, then again, it is a car dealer.
The strange green car probably is Elkhart green, but if you look at all the pics, esp. the interior, all the pics have an orange cast in them.
Yeah, not sure what the baby puke remark was. Maybe his devil child retched on his monitor.
Chuckievettes pix are of an Elkhart green corvette. The top photo you posted is probably a 70 or 71 color.
The bright green corvette doesn't look like Elkhart green.

My '73 says 947 on the trim tag. I know baby puke when I see it.
The first one looks like Brandshatch Green the second looks like a bad photo of Elkart Green (the grass even looks off colored)
That was my first thought! The neon picture actually hurts my eyes to look at.
Thanks everyone!
This forum should have threads stickied at the top specifically for "Post pictures of your ______ car!" Tuxedo, Can-Am, Monza, LeMans, and so on. Not only would it be informative, but also great eye candy to sift through.
Neither look Elkhart green to me. But the 2nd is closer. I must say though that Elkhart green with the saddle interior has always been one of my favorite combos.
Brands Hatch Green in good sunlight. In the shade, Brands Hatch can sometimes look black. You have to do a double take to make sure you're looking at green.

I don't think that either of these 2 cars are painted Elkhart green, the first picture looks more like Brands Hatch green from 1971. The second picture looks too bright, probably a custom color.
My Elkhart Green coupe,
