Default In case anyone is wondering......
...... a stock 15X8 wheel off a '69 weighs 25-ish lbs. The trailer hitch assembly i removed also weighed around 25 lbs. That's a whole 50lbs off the back of my car not including the tire! It's like free horspower. I pulled the spare out to clean it up and reinstall but I might just have throw a can a fix-a-flat in the car instead of putting the spare back. Light makes right....right.



And the trailer hitch free '69.

I like the way you think! I have a doughnut spare but no jack or lug wrench. Why carry the extra weight?
