Sold my 81...
81 Pontiac Firebird that is... I was sad to see her go. She drove like a beauty (with a small block 400 pulling around 350 horses) but she needed a paint job, and even though my 78 Vette only gets around half the horse power, I sure do love my Vette!!
My wife told me if I bought the Vette I had to sell the Bird. But I'd have liked to have kept both...
The Firebird had about the same pickup as the Vette (the Vette topping out at 128 mph and the Bird..well..I never actually topped it out but the top end was faster than the car would safely go. It had the stock gears which I think were in the high twos... Great freeway cruiser...
And just like that, buyer's remorse gives way to seller's remorse..... But I LOVE my Vette!!!
