Well, I'm probably not alone in someone who threw out the correct fan or some other part for our Corvette. I have a 72 Big Blk ( Bought new ) it's a 454/ 4 speed, no air car. I replaced the fan sometime in the 80'S with a different fan ( Trying to cool the Big Blk ) Now, I would like to replace the fan with the correct part number fan. If someone has a correct fan or, could tell me the correct part number, I would greatly appreciate it. The car was a Dec 71 build date. Thanks...........
Still looking for help finding the correct fan for my 72 454/4 speed, no air car. A picture, part number would be really appreciated. Thanks...........

From my 1970-1972 NCRS Technical Manual
"Fan was gloss black, but not so glossy to show reflection. Paint was often poorly and incompletely applied. A/C cars used a 7 blade fan, which has a part # and date code stamped on one or more of the blades. 454 a/c cars used a fan with pointed blades that extend beyond the fan shroud. the fan date code is a alpha character for the month (A:January, B:February, etc.) and two numerals for the year of fan blade production.Cars without a/c used a 5 blade fan without a date codeThe fan to clutch bolt hole is larger for 1971 and 1972 fans".
From my 1972 AIM UPC 6 sheet A3
they only list one part# for the fan #3991420 and is referred to as Blade assy-fan they also list part#3991426 clutch assy-fan blade.
Hope this helps some, I'm sure someone else will chime in.
Regards
Roy
Roy, I really appreciate your research, I have 2 leads on the correct fan. Lucky for me, I didn't toss the clutch hub. Again thank you big time........
