Mine has a hose from the neck of the radiator just below the radiator cap to one of the two nipples on the top of the replaced overflow coolant reservoir tank. There is another hose on the other one which i believe is a drain hose if that fills too much and just drains down vertically. Can't remember but haven't looked recently.

WOW!!!! New tank old lid?!?!?!?!!?!?!? I have new NOS ones if you really want that car to impress the NCRS failures..........................
You are absolutely right...I replaced the tank in the first month because the one that came on it had worn a leak in it from abrasion. Never even thought to replace the lid which is old, yellowed plastic isn't it? I can order one and make them both look the same age anyway. Never noticed it. That was item 5 on my list which is now up to 62 completed!
What do you have and how do we do that or should I just buy it from zip or somebody? I am not even in the slightest interested in the NCRS stuff. Too much stuffiness surrounding all that for me. I'm more informal than that. Those guys probably wear tuxedos to church too and I wear slacks and a shirt now!
I just ordered the new lid...it's $5.50 plus shipping from Zip on the other side of Metro Richmond from me. thanks for pointing out something I should have seen. I LIKE stuff that looks cleaner than old polyethylene or whatever plastic it is.

No, we (and there's quite a few of us) just sit here reading posts like yours and shake our heads.

I don't understand the resentment some feel toward the NCRS. They're an organization interested in restoration of Corvettes. They judge cars based on condition and 'correct' configuration to a standard, how the cars were typically built. Strikes me as a very fair, impartial standard independent of financial influences. People submit their cars to be judged knowing what they will get in return is a judgement of how the car compares to the way they were built when new. How can that be offensive, snobbish, or threatening?
I think people may get the NCRS mixed with other special interest groups who also put heavy emphasis on 'correctness' but extend this to take market value into account. This crowd makes value judgements which are bound to offend some people depending on whether they agree on what attributes are valuable in a Corvette and what kills value. It gets a bit more personal when money is involved.
