Corvette Therapy
Having spent the last 16 days with my Mom in the CCU at the local hospital, taking midnight drives in my C3 and posting on this forum have been a great stress relief for me. Today she was moved to a regular room and we are hoping for her release soon!

Mick, I understand just what you’re talking about. Two years ago my youngest son became critically ill and was in three different hospitals in a four week period. Each one further from home. The last hospital was 150 miles from home. My wife stayed with our son in the hospital and I had to stay at home with our other son because of school. When I was not traveling to see my son in the hospital I would work on my car to keep my mind off of things. I am glad to hear that your mother is doing better.

glad to hear your mom is improving. No excuse not to keep taking the Vette out though. I wholeheartedly agree on the Corvette therapy idea too, I take mine out too when I just want ot get my mind off of what ever may be bugging me. Threre's not much a healthy engine singing at 6K rpm though headers and flowmasters can't cure!

Glad to hear it and hope she continues to improve.
The stress from that situation can be overwhelming, a diversion is healthy.
Also, the magazines in those waiting room racks are crap! Nothing for the true sports car fan.

Glad to hear your Mom is doing better. I know that when I had radiation last spring it was made bearable by being able to drive my Corvette to the sessions.
